About Us
The one thing that unites each member of our team is the sense of desire we have to be an influential member of the global community. We each were offered this opportunity and there was no hesitation. Over the last couple of months we have been working closely to put together three projects for our trip to Peru. Dental Packages to promote hygiene, educational supplies for children at an orphanage and pamphlets for health care awareness. Working so closely to put these projects together has brought us closer as a team, which we know will make this experience all the more rewarding. Our preparations were so enlightening, each week we got together to work on our projects, learn about peru, the people, the food, the culture and the languages; In Huancavelica the people speak Quecha and Spanish. As undergraduate students we will be assisting the medical staff by running errands and helping patients as they receive their medical care. Even though, we have little experience with patients, we play a vital role in which the mission is trying to achieve makes us proud to be apart of this Mission. (read more)

Project
There is so much that we are getting out of this amazing opportunity to travel to Peru and learn as much as we can. As a team we decided that we were going to take the time that we have been given to make the job of the medical team easier and take as much as we could out of this unique chance to be in Peru. We have been very lucky to find generous people and companies that saw the importance of PAMS (Peruvian American Medical Society) and the work that they are doing. To them we would like to say none of this would be possible without your help and we are very thankful for your support. (read more)
