Dear Friends, Colleagues, and Volunteers:
The upcoming 2013 mission/medical campaign in Huancavelica will begin on July 5-20th. Please make this change to your calender if you have not done so already.
We will accept 6 students max from USA and also 6 from Peru. Most physicians are from USA, but also many are from Peru. Thus, you may see different facets of Medical Practice.
We hope you get interested and participate with us. You are cordially invited to participate in this program.

To complement its final report of the sixth medical campaign in Huancavelica, since you will be sent by the Ministry of Health, local authorities OGCI and annexed detailed information confirmed data, thanks to the kind collaboration of Dr. Jackson Sanchez, current Director Hospital Department of Huancavelica, which has provided computer records from the first day of care and statistical table, specifying the name of the patients underwent surgery and type of surgery, according to the following summary:
As said, also benefited by the visit of volunteers and donations delivery, such as clothing and shoes, among others, children and elderly of the Children's Village Huancavelica.
There are pictures that speak for themselves of humanitarian volunteers of all PAMS, like Jimmy Pham placing new shoes to the elderly, medical care and as such interventions, surgery Huachocolpa child with cleft lip who had surgery because he himself heard on the radio about the campaign and urged his parents to take him to hospital. Other photos plotted the good relationship and organization of Huancavelica medical corps and all that we have been participating since the first campaign in 2007, and identified as one team and so we uniforms with hat and vest that carries the three main Regional Government logos, PAMS and Buenaventura.
